Helvetica No More
Poster for Rainer Erich Scheichelbauer’s typography talk for the Design Lecture Series 2014 at Concordia University. The poster had to be expressive and the concept had to reflect the idea behind Rainer’s talk, which was entitled ‘Helvetica no more’. The talk was about the popularity of Helvetica and how we need to let go, because there are countless typefaces out there and also because Helvetica isn’t as perfect as it might seem. I had to use a limited colour pattern of maximum four colours and no figurative illustrations or use of photography was allowed.
